Guideline for Author
Submissions are welcomed from authors worldwide. Authors should ensure they provide sufficient context for readers to fully understand and value their work.
Submission Guidelines
1. General Requirements
To meet the standards of Jurnal Civic Governance dan Administrasi Publik:
- Manuscripts must be written in English.
- Papers should be between 8 to 16 pages in length. Papers exceeding 17 pages will be evaluated by the editors.
- Use a reference management tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote (manual referencing is acceptable if necessary).
- Prepare the paper using the journal template (MS Word format):

2. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should follow this structure:
- Title: Keep the title concise, avoiding acronyms and abbreviations.
- Abstract: 250–300 words without citations, stating objectives, research design, methodology, findings, results, and conclusions.
- Section Structure: Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion.
- References: Minimum 20 references, with at least 80% from international journals indexed in ScienceDirect or Scopus, using APA style.
Designate one author as the corresponding author, providing:
- Email address
- Complete postal address
Article Components
Title
The title should be precise, concise, and descriptive, using relevant keywords. Avoid terms such as "new" or "novel". The title and author(s) must be centered in a single-column format. Academic titles and organizational affiliations should not be included in the author name.
Abstract
The abstract should be a single paragraph (maximum 250 words), stand alone without references or equations, highlight the uniqueness of the research, and include 3–5 keywords.
Keywords
Selecting relevant keywords increases article discoverability and audience reach.
Introduction
Provides an overview of relevant literature, research context, objectives, and significance.
Methods
Describes the research process clearly to ensure reproducibility and credibility.
Equations
Equations should be created using the Insert Equation feature in MS Word.
Results and Discussion
Present findings using tables or figures where appropriate. The discussion should interpret results and explain their contribution to the field.
Conclusions
Discuss broader implications and future research directions without overstating results.
References
Cite only relevant sources. Unnecessary references are discouraged and may be considered unethical.
Acknowledgments
Optional section to acknowledge individuals or organizations supporting the research.
Papers that do not meet submission requirements will be returned for revision. Only manuscripts following the correct format will be reviewed.
